BLACK CURRANT CAKE

I've been wanting to try out black currant flavour in my cakes. I finally ended up making one.

I didn't have a recipe so I came up with one. The result was good only a little too sweet. The flavour works well..has a jammmy taste. And it's definitely worth a try.

CRICKET SET CAKE

I wanted to surprise a young relative with a cricket set cake. So I made him a cricket bat, ball, leg pads, hat, jersey and the works. Since he likes Sachin, I used a picture as a score board. The result..see.... I used a moist vanilla cake recipe which I found online. After reading the reviews, I decided that it was the right cake to prepare. But I was disappointed when I tasted the final result. The cake was tasty but not at all moist. Will never try that recipe again.
