Website and Contributors

Hi. I'm in the process of creating my website. It's taking me a little longer than what I would have imagined as I'm no longer in touch with my web designing skills. But I have found this awesome help from BlueVoda.

I'm also looking out for contributors to my site. You might have tried out a new recipe or know someone who sells cake decorating tools and allied products. Let me know. There are so many of us who find it difficult to find just about what we need...say a small piping bag or a different piping tip or colourful muffin wrappers or shaped trays and more.

I wanted to surprise a young relative with a cricket set cake. So I made him a cricket bat, ball, leg pads, hat, jersey and the works. Since he likes Sachin, I used a picture as a score board. The result..see.... I used a moist vanilla cake recipe which I found online. After reading the reviews, I decided that it was the right cake to prepare. But I was disappointed when I tasted the final result. The cake was tasty but not at all moist. Will never try that recipe again.

BANANA CAKE DOUGHNUTS

I wanted to make doughnuts for ages now. I never did find a recipe to my liking and then I can across this wonderful recipe for old fashioned cake doughnuts by karalalala. It's simple, easy, quick, uncomplicated and delicious. I added mashed ripe banana to the recipe and made banana doughnuts. Here's a pix: Dusted them with icing sugar and you just don't stop at one..
